Tukad Cepung Waterfall
Tukad Cepung waterfall is unique among the waterfalls in Bali. It is formed by water that runs down the cliffs instead of flowing into rivers or streams. The waterfall cannot be seen from above. You have to go down the stairs and approach from below to get a breathtaking view of the waterfall with the skyline in the background.
Tukad Cepung was relatively unknown for a long time and did not have as many visitors in 2016. Even many local drivers didn’t know where it was. But with the rise of Instagram, more and more tourists are flocking to this breathtaking waterfall and the unique way that sunlight falls through the cliffs onto the falling water.
This means that during this magical hour, the sunlight is on the waterfall and is likely to queue up with people waiting for their turn to take the perfect Instagram shot.
