Holy Water Sebatu Temple
Holy Water Sebatu Temple is Famous Name With Pura Tirta Dawa Gunung Kawi Sebatu. It’s the local name for this wonderful temple, a bit off the beaten path a little north of the Tegalalang rice terraces in the village of Sebatu, 14 km north of Ubud and 44 km from Seminyak
The closest town to Gunung Kawi Sebatu is Ubud. The temple is a 20-minute drive from Ubud and is located northeast of the city in the small village of Sebatu. The best way to Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple is via the main road from Ubud towards Lake Batur. If you are from Ubud, approach Gunung Kawi Sebatu from a small winding road that comes from Jalan Raya Tegallalang. It is easy to find because the temple is clearly signposted.
While you can visit this temple without a guide, this is a place I strongly recommend that you pay a small fee so that a local guide shows you the three places you stop on the way to blessing, and then it shows how to properly prepare yourself to be presented to the sacred waterfall, which is fed by natural springs.
